Authors Statement

I created this website to provide information for educational purposes. The best information I can find, of course – and interpreted in the most easily understandable writing I am capable of. Although it may look like professional advice, it’s not, it’s just information. Even if I say “my advice is…” or “I advise people to…” etc. I am still just writing my opinion. I am not giving you direct professional advice!

Yes, I am a professional: a Physical Therapist. Yes, I do have a license for it (in the province of Canada where I live). But since you are not paying for physical therapy, you are not a physical therapy client of mine. Since we’re not in a hospital, you are not a patient of mine. No, you can’t buy an e-book or consultation from me and charge it to your insurance as physical therapy. You are not receiving physical therapy from me, nor are you receiving medical advice! It’s just information! Perhaps even misinformation (the research I base my opinions on may be terribly wrong… who knows?).

What you decide to do with this information, is entirely up to you. Be careful!  If you think you have a serious problem, go to your doctor.  Even if you are unsure whether or not it’s serious… go to your doctor anyway! In fact, before you do anything else, go see your doctor.

If you’re still not clear, here’s the more official sounding disclaimer:
